A Holiday Letter from Adrift Hospitality

Dearest Friends, Family, and Framily,

It’s been quite a year! We wanted to take a little time to review the year and tell you about what we’ve been up to out here on the coast.

In 2022, we hosted gorgeous weddings and super fun parties. We dreamed up delicious dishes and fantastic drinks at Pickled Fish and The Knot Bar. We played on beaches, shopped small, foraged in the woods, took thousands of Instagram photos, and focused on mental health. We observed the Summer Solstice, had Thanksgiving dinner together, ate Breakfast with Santa, and played BINGO at Shelburne Pub. We delivered thousands of pastries to the Boardwalk Cottages. We learned about the history of pride flags and celebrated Pride Month. We had séances, tarot readings, ghost tours, and ate buckets of candy at Shelburne Hotel. We barked back at our sea lion buddies after steaming up the barrel saunas at Bowline Hotel. We swam in all seasons in the covered, heated, saline pool at Adrift Hotel + Spa, and savored the wide ocean views from the balcony at the Inn at Discovery Coast. We raised a big pile of money for our favorite local causes through new programs, gift cards, Cocktail for a Cause, and our Adrift Crew.

We put together this little album to share with you some fond memories from this year.

This year, we continued our tremendously popular “Cocktail for a Cause” program. Every month we dream up a drink and a select a cause, then 50% of sales from that drink goes directly to the cause. This year, we’ve raised over $25,000 for organizations in our community! The monthly Cocktail for a Cause is offered at our fine drinking establishments – Pickled Fish restaurant at Adrift Hotel, Shelburne Pub in the Shelburne Hotel, and The Knot at Bowline Hotel.

We’re pleased to be able to continue this tradition into 2023 with inventive new cocktails and worthy local causes. Cheers!

A New Way to Give Back

In November 2022, we partnered with Kind Traveler in getting certified in the Every Stay Gives Back program. When you stay at any Adrift Hospitality property, a nominal nightly donation of $1 (shown in the guest final bill) will go to Dylan Jude Harrell Community Center. Adrift Hospitality will match donations for every $1 donated.
100% of donations go to the charity.

Since its launch in the beginning of November, this program has already raised over $7,000!

This year, we welcomed over 5,000 pets to our pet-friendly hotels! Most rooms at most of our properties are friendly to pet guests. These guests in 2022 were mostly dogs, a few cats, and even one pygmy goat!!! Across the Adrift Hospitality collection of hotels, we have 161 pet-friendly rooms located at Adrift Hotel, Ashore Hotel, Boardwalk Cottages, Bowline Hotel, and Inn at Discovery Coast. Here is a slideshow of dog pics submitted by our Instagram friends.

More Good Cheers

We have some updates on the Adrift Distillery, too!
This year, we served up 38,000 tastes in the tasting room of the distillery. We had the honor of being selected as a Judges’ Pick in Sip Magazine’s Best of the Northwest for our Adrift Distillers Aquavit. We released a new batch of our Straight Bourbon Whiskey (available for the first time since 2020). And we’re looking forward to celebrating our 5th birthday in March 2023!

Thank you so much for being a part of our community, and we hope to see you again really soon. We are very excited to see what 2023 has in store for all of us! If you’d like to share your 2022 memories with us please drop us a line at [email protected]. We’d love to hear from you.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

We love you.
