DAY 1

Planning a trip to the coast? We’ve got an itinerary to help you squeeze all the best bits of Seaside, Oregon into 48 hours!

7 am: Good morning! Stretch out in one of our comfy rooms. All our rooms are pet friendly and uniquely designed, each including a flat screen TV, DVD player, a refrigerator, and custom-made desk and chairs.

7:30 am: Take a morning dip in the pool, or sweat it out in our sauna.

8:30 am: Grab breakfast in the Ashore lobby! Choose from delicious waffles, mimosas, or espresso to fuel the day’s adventures.

A waffle on a white plate topped with whipped cream and berry compote. A hand is pouring syrup from a small cup onto the waffle. A coffee cup is partially visible in the background on a wooden table.
A wooden sauna room with benches on two sides, a bucket of water with a ladle placed in the corner, and wooden panels covering the walls and floor. The lighting is warm, giving the room a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
A dog with a golden-brown coat runs towards the camera on a wet beach with mountains and a hazy sky in the background. The dog's reflection is visible on the wet sand.

10 am: To help that breakfast digest, take a walk or cycle to the beach, which is just a block west of Ashore.

11:00 am: Start your day with one of the most beautiful natural wonders of the West Coast, Haystack Rock. It’s just a short 17 minutes drive to Cannon Beach, and there are wildlife wonders aplenty. Scour the rockpools, watch the tufted puffins during the spring, or enjoy the cuteness of the giant groups of bunnies hopping around.

1:00 pm: Hungry? Head back to Seaside to try one of the amazing sandwiches at Dough Dough Bakery and Fermentation Station or try Big Kahuna Pub and Grill and order one of their famous Bloody Marys which can be considered a meal on its own!

2:30 pm: Grab one of our free rental bikes and explore Seaside! You can follow the river or cycle along the Victorian promenade. Ride down to the south end of the beach to The Cove and watch surfers do their thing.

4:00 pm: Head back to your room for a pre-dinner cat nap or hit the pool if you slept in!

A neatly made bed features a wooden headboard and is adorned with several white pillows and a cushion with a beach design. Two wall-mounted lamps with exposed bulbs flank the bed, casting a warm light. A dark horizontal stripe runs along the wall behind the headboard.
A man and a woman are riding bicycles on a paved path along a beach. The sky is partly cloudy, and the ocean is visible in the background. Both are wearing casual clothing, and a concrete railing lines the path.
A person, wearing jeans and a jacket with a hood up, walks a dog on a sidewalk next to a building with a lit marquee and a large star-shaped decoration. A tree, street signs, and shops are visible along the street, with cars and traffic lights in the distance.

6:00 pm: There are so many great restaurants in and around Seaside, whether you’re looking for drive-thru, seafood, fine dining, family style or something intimate and romantic, there is something for everyone! If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary and family friendly, head to The Sea Crab House, a cajun and creole restaurant specializing in seafood boils. Choose your seafood and seasoning and they pour it right out onto the table for you to indulge. Signature fishbowl cocktails too!

8:00 pm: A great way to end the night is with a walk to the movies! The Times vintage inspired movie theater and bar is just a block south of the Ashore.

Shelves displaying an assortment of bottles, primarily wine with labels visible on the upper shelves. Below, a variety of other beverages, including soft drinks and water, are arranged. A glowing light bulb hangs in the upper left corner.

10:30 pm:

Take a stroll along the water while the night is young. Then back to Ashore Lobby for a nightcap.

DAY 2

9:00 am: After such a busy day, you deserve a sleep-in and breakfast in bed! Order breakfast and espresso from Ashore Wine Bar.

A hotel room bed with white linens and a decorative pillow featuring a gray background and red patterns in the center. Two hanging light bulbs, each with red cords, are on either side of the bed. A nightstand with a clock radio is on the left.
An outdoor ropes course featuring multiple wooden platforms, beams, and various hanging obstacles, including ropes and climbing elements. The sky is partly cloudy with a modern wooden structure visible in the background. Greenery is seen on the right side.

11:00 am: If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, head over to High Life Adventure Park and try their high flying obstacle course.

1:00 pm: After burning some energy, go grab lunch in downtown Seaside. Our staff at the front desk is happy to recommend the perfect place or checkout the Osprey Cafe, a staff favorite.

2:00 pm: After lunch, head north up the coast to Astoria to check out some of the best breweries on the coast. Some of our favorites are Fort George and Buoy, both of which we have on tap at our bar! Some crowd favorites are the Vortex IPA from Fort George and the Buoy Cream Ale. Or, if beer isn’t your cup of tea, indulge in some afternoon shopping along Astoria’s Main Street. If you’re there on a Sunday, Astoria’s fantastic Sunday Market is filled with local vendors selling everything from tarot readings to local goat cheese!

8:00pm: Make sure to get back to Seaside in time to watch the sunset over the ocean and enjoy that salty sea air. Soak up your last few hours of vacation bliss.

A green steel truss bridge spans across a body of water on a foggy day, connecting to land on either side. In the foreground, there are several buildings, including a beige multi-story structure. Hills can be seen in the distant background.
