AT THE INN

Located five miles south of Cannon Beach, The Inn at Arch Cape is an entire property rental featuring six self-contained guest rooms that collectively sleep up to 20.

Each of the guest rooms has a full kitchen or kitchenette, rustic fireplace, flat screen TV, private bathroom with rain-head shower & massage pebble floor, hair dryer and clothes iron. Room six features a larger kitchen and dining space for gathering.

Room #1

A beautiful one-bedroom king suite, with a comfy king bed in a private bedroom with a flat-screen TV, plus a twin “captain’s bed” in the living room.

As with all the rooms at the Inn, Room #1 also features a fully appointed kitchen, a private bathroom, and rustic fireplace, perfect for those cool evenings on the Oregon coast.

Once an apartment when The Inn was the Arch Cape general store and post office in the 1950s, Room #1 has two entrances: One opens onto the upper sun deck; the other opens onto a small private deck facing north.

Room #2

A classic example of rustic Oregon Coast luxury, Room #2 is a cozy studio with a king bed and a small kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, cooktop and microwave.

The room opens onto the Inn’s lush eastern garden. This lovely space — which served as Arch Cape’s reading room/community library in the 1960s — features windows on three sides, a walk-in closet, a private bathroom, and a stone fireplace.

Room #3

Located in the center of the Inn, Room #3 once served as the main area of the general store that served Arch Cape in the 1940s and ’50s, and later as the private apartment of Mrs. McDonald.

It features a large bedroom with a king bed and flat-screen TV, private bathroom, a fully appointed kitchen that opens onto a family room with a sofa and two oversized chairs with fireplace, and an alcove off the family room with a set of bunk beds.

The room has two entrances: One opens onto the upper sundeck with views toward the Pacific Ocean; the other opens onto the Inn’s eastern-facing garden.

Room #4

This room was once Arch Cape’s historic post office and features the building’s original stone fireplace and comfy king bed.

With eastern and northern views and windows on three sides, this bright and cheerful room opens onto the Inn’s lovely eastern garden and boasts a spacious, fully appointed kitchen and private bathroom.

Room #5

Once the personal apartment of the woman who ran the store/post office that operated here in the 1940s and ’50s, Room #5 is unique in that it has a private southern deck with views of the Pacific Ocean.

It has a second entrance that opens onto the upper sundeck. In addition to a quiet private bedroom featuring a king bed and flat screen TV, this charming room includes a “captain’s bed” in the living room, cozy fireplace, fully appointed kitchen and private bathroom.

Room #6

Formerly the innkeeper’s quarters, Room #6 features western-facing windows and a large fully appointed kitchen that opens into a large dining space for 20 guests.

Down the hallway is a private bathroom and bunk room with flat-screen TV, two sets of bunk beds and a daybed with a trundle. Just outside the main entrance, there is the Inn’s outdoor firepit, picnic table, and gas grill. This room can sleep 6 guests in the bunk room, and host 20 guests in the kitchen & dining room.
