Beck started her journey on the east coast, moving to Long Beach to work on a horse farm & train German Shepherds. But she was soon a bit bored and started looking for a side job, where she ended up working as a bartender at Pickled Fish.
After bartending part-time for six months, Beck was promoted to Bar Manager which she did for two years. However, after meeting her husband (a teacher in Ilwaco) she realized she didn’t want to work night shift anymore. After discussions with CEO Tiffany Turner, she was offered the Food and Beverage Director role, a new position for the company.
After a few years, Adrift Hospitality had reached over 100 employees, and it was clear the company needed a Human Resources Manager. Beck filled the role and took on a different kind of leadership within the company.
