Here are some highlights of the downtown Astoria art scene to add some color to your visit.

Astoria Art Walk – Second Saturday of the month

12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Astoria’s second Saturday of the month art walk features open house events at galleries and businesses featuring local artists. It is also an opportunity to peek into artist studios all over town. See the map on their website for participating artists and businesses.

Astoria Sunday Market – Every Summer Sunday

12th St., Downtown Astoria

Sundays, Mother’s Day to – Mid-October, from 10am-3pm

Come for the veggies and flowers – stay for the local crafts people! You’ll find vendors displaying handmade jewelry, art glass, ceramics, clothing, sculpture and more.

Astoria Visual Arts

AVA was founded by women artists in 1989 to foster artists and art education in the region. Visit their bright gallery downtown for the current show and find out what other activities they are working on at the moment.

Cambium Gallery

Cambium is a bunch of things – contemporary art gallery, coffee shop, ceramics and painting studio, and workshop space. If you plan to stick a round for a little while, take a class with Audrey or Kirista, or just hang out and sip a coffee in one of the cutest, gayest spots in town.

Gathered Bakeshop + Market

Gathered Bakeshop is primarily known for delicious baked goods and a well-curated market, but a little-known artist cubby corner is a great place to discover a beautiful little something from a local maker. (Hot tip: take a look at their hot sauce library!)

The gallery’s focus is on diverse, contemporary art and features the work of artists of all professional levels who work in all mediums. Depending on the current show, you could see painting and printmaking, or ceramics and sculpture, all influenced by a Pacific Northwest aesthetic.
