Event Details
The Horsenecks play hard-hitting and heartfelt Old Time and classic Bluegrass music. Their sound is centered around the pairing of the signature rhythmic Appalachian fiddle style of Oregonian Gabrielle Macrae and the driving yet subtle banjo playing of Liverpudlian Barry Southern. Gabrielle’s playing style is the result of being raised in the Old Time music hotbed of Portland, OR and being exposed to the fiddle traditions of the Southeast through years of traveling to festivals and learning from some of the greatest players in the genre.
Whether performing as a duo or as a four piece The Horsenecks continue to set a new standard in today’s traditional music scene with years of touring under their belts and appearances at major festivals in the USA and the UK, including the Cornwall Bluegrass Festival, Doolin Folk Festival, The Portland Old Time Gathering, and the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Festival. They received critical acclaim for their first two albums, released in 2016 and 2018. Their much anticipated third album was successfully released in December 2020.

Event Details
Mike Frazier is a singer/songwriter from Virginia who blends country, folk, and rock-n-roll music to tell tales of life in the Shenandoah Valley. He released his debut LP, “Elegy” on AF Records (Anti-Flag, Homeless Gospel Choir) and quickly followed up with his second LP, “Where The Valley Kissed The Sky” in 2019 on his own label Geneva Records. He has spent the last few years touring relentlessly across the US and Canada. He has supported artists such as Amigo The Devil, Cory Branan, Austin Lucas, Vandoliers, The Last Bison, Fort Defiance, and Gallows Bound. In 2020, Mike flew across the Atlantic to do a run of shows throughout Europe. This tour was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon returning home, Mike continued to release new music. He released his third album, “Leave It All Behind” which is a collection of tracks recorded at studios in Asbury Park, New Jersey and Harrisonburg, VA. According to American Songwriter “Everything about Leave It All Behind projects the thought of leaving and/or getting away from something: places, feelings, memories. Frazier wasn’t out to write a concept album with this third record but it just so happened each piece of the album told stories of various figures who experienced this mentality in different ways.” Frazier continued to write and record for the rest of 2020 and into 2021 which led to the release of a collection of acoustic songs accompanied with cello and violin, entitled “The One Who’ll Love You.” Frazier continued to write and record new material throughout 2021, and now has several releases slated for 2022.

Freddy Trujillo is a singer/songwriter/bassist who hails from Simi Valley, CA. He grew up in a
highly musical family. Fred Sr. sang and played guitar in various groups, including The
Beethovens, an all-chicano beat combo who gigged all over the southland during the great
garage-rock boom of the mid-1960's. Sister A'me Loraine scored two top ten dance hits in the
early 90's. Freddy himself played with Pat Smear (Nirvana, Germs) and many other local L.A.
acts during the explosion of punk/alternative music that hit L.A. in the '80's/'90's. Freddy soon re-
located to Portland, Oregon and released his acclaimed debut solo record Hawks & Highways,
which dealt with the intertwining of Native American and Chicano experiences in rock & roll
form. He has since been a sought-after player on the ever-burgeoning Portland scene playing
with anyone from Curtis Salgado to Fernando. Besides his own solo band, Freddy has also been
a full time member of The Delines, which is the latest project by novelist Willy Vlautin.
