2004 – The Inn at Discovery Coast, WA

In 2004, owners Tiffany and Brady Turner developed and constructed the Inn at Discovery Coast, a 12-room boutique hotel. With the Pacific Ocean on its doorstep and thoughtful amenities, the Inn immediately resonated with travelers. The Inn boasts organic honor bar items, jetted tubs or double headed showers, fireplaces, balconies and is adults-only.

2011 – Adrift Hotel + Spa, WA

In 2011, Tiffany and Brady purchased an under-performing 80-room property (now with 82 rooms), adjacent to the Inn at Discovery Coast, and recreated it as a unique, sustainable hotel named Adrift Hotel + Spa. The hotel includes several unique features such as Pickled Fish Restaurant, 100% pet friendly rooms, complimentary bicycles, a library, game room, fire pit and in-room dining. The lobby is stocked with great local wines, microbrews and organic snacks, and loves to partner with local makers.

2012 – Pickled Fish Restaurant, WA

When Tiffany and Brady renovated the Adrift Hotel, the restaurant that sat atop the hotel was a 20 year old establishment named The Lightship Restaurant. Tiffany and Brady had their wedding rehearsal dinner at The Lightship Restaurant many years ago. Pickled Fish focuses on serving high quality, local and sustainable foods with an emphasis on local purveyors and reflecting the flora of the surrounding peninsula. The Pickled Fish is particularly known for its craft cocktails, local microbrews and organic and biodynamic wine selection. We make just about everything in-house, with the help of our bakery.

2013 – Live Music Program

Live bands began performing in January 2013, and word quickly spread to regional talents that Pickled Fish was a great venue for the PNW music scene. Initially, Tiffany was the music booker! A fortuitous meeting at a fundraiser featuring Portland’s beloved band, The Decemberists, with Ezra Holbrook, drummer and founding member, led to him booking bands for Pickled Fish in April 2013. Ezra continues to be our official music booker with popular local bands, and soon-to-be discovered musicians.

2015 – Ashore Hotel, OR

Previously the Sundowner Inn, the Ashore Hotel is located just a block from the beach in Seaside. In July of  2015, we opened the 22 room, motel style, property, which features a dry sauna, a saline soaking pool and a fire pit. The Ashore also shares popular amenities with Adrift, such as free bicycles to rent, and great local wines, microbrews and light food options in the Wine and Espresso Bar.

2017 – Adrift Distillers, WA

In December of 2017, after two years of research and development, Adrift Distillers sold its first bottle of cranberry liqueur at the Adrift Holiday Bazaar. Adrift Distillers is a grain-to-glass, small-batch, craft distillery, which uses ingredients from the local landscape, and grain from Washington farms. Since then, Adrift Distillers has gone on to win awards for its Cranberry Liqueur and its Gin from the American Distilling Institute.

A line of various bottled spirits is displayed on a wooden surface in front of distilling equipment. The bottles are labeled with different types of alcohol, including vodka, gin, coffee liqueur, and cranberry liqueur, among others.

2018 – Shelburne Hotel and Pub, WA

In January of  2018, Adrift Hospitality took over the Shelburne Hotel & Pub. The oldest continuously running hotel in Washington State and was built in 1896. Shelburne is special to us. Founders and owners Tiffany and Brady Turner had their wedding reception at the Shelburne. The Pub offers fun comfort food with great classic cocktails, beer, and wine. The garden is a picture-perfect spot for gatherings large and small. Inside, have fun playing shuffle board and billiards.

2018 – Social Purpose Corporation

In 2018, Adrift Hospitality made use of a new Washington law which legally allows a for-profit corporation to place social and environmental concerns above fiduciary considerations, and became a Social Purpose Corporation. Learn more here

2019 – Certified B Corporation

In May 2019, after two years of planning, we gained B-Corporation certification. We’re proud members of a global community of a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. As such, we’re legally required to consider the impact of our decisions on workers, customers, suppliers, the community, and the environment. Learn more here

2019 – The Pool House, WA

In the summer of 2019, we added the pool house featuring a heated saline pool, barrel-sauna, and full-service spa. The pool area opens up to an outdoor courtyard. Fenced in for privacy and to protect from that windy PNW weather, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy some sunshine. The second floor of the pool house is home to the studio rooms of the Inn at Discovery Coast.

2020 – Boardwalk Cottages, WA

This one’s close to our hearts. Co-founder Brady Turner’s parents owned and operated the Boardwalk Cottages, following their dream of running a small inn by the ocean. As a teenager, Brady would help with whatever needed doing. In 2020, the cottages found their way into the growing Adrift Hospitality portfolio. A dozen self-contained units with unique amenities like spa tubs, kitchens, and fireplaces, Boardwalk Cottages is the perfect spot for independent travelers and families alike.

2021 – Bowline Hotel & The Knot Bar, OR

We were so excited to come to Astoria, Oregon. Bowline Hotel is a luxurious forty-room property located in the middle of town, right on the mighty Columbia River. We transformed what used to be a fish processing plant into a unique space to experience the oldest city on the West Coast. Amenities include XL soaking tubs, barrel saunas, and and in-room fireplaces. With plenty of common spaces and neighbors like Daphne, you’ll feel like a local instantly. Taste our rich Scandinavian roots at the Knot Bar in our lobby.

2023 – The Boat Coffee Bar, WA

Our lobby at Adrift Hotel + Spa was due for an update and we wanted to add something special, too! We added a coffee bar, serving up locally roasted espresso and house-made pastries as well as other quick bites that are easy to grab and go before heading out to explore. The retail area was also expanded to offer more snacks, merch, and things you might (definitely) need to take home after your trip to the beach.

2024 – Current Surf | Coffee | Cocktails, WA

We resurrected an all new building on property at Boardwalk Cottages so we could expand with 4 new suites and a cool new space to hang out in: Current Cafe! Open daily, we dish out everything from your morning espresso to your evening nightcap all in one place. You can enjoy a range of pastries, breakfast options, and delicious afternoon eats for order in or take out. The extensive retail space has surf gear and beach essentials, plus apparel you’ll love. Make sure to make time to hang here during your next stay.

2024 – The Inn at Arch Cape, OR

This property is exciting as it became our very first vacation rental! Adrift Hospitality took over the Inn at Arch Cape which was previously ran as a 6 room Inn, and reimagined it as the perfect place for a group getaway. With a large communal gathering space and lots of fun outside spots to hang, we think you’ll love it too. Since reopening, we’ve had family reunions, holiday getaways, and even a wedding party! The Inn’s close proximity to the beach makes it a the perfect place to get together for up to 20 guests. The 6 rooms feature private bathrooms and kitchens, so you can all spread out if need be.

2025 – The Inn at Manzanita and The Spinn, OR

Our latest venture as we expand down the Oregon Coast are two properties across the street from one another! The Inn at Manzanita is perfect for couples or those seeking a peaceful retreat; think balconies, jetted tubs, cozy spaces, and in-room fireplaces. There’s also a beautiful garden space that offers just the place to enjoy the salty sea air on a still morning. The Spinn, located across the street, was previously the long standing Spindrift Inn. To put our spin(n) on this property, we’re reinventing it with retro motor lodge vibes, which you’ll feel as soon as you step inside. Cute new amenities like the in-room record players are sure to delight. Both properties are currently getting some slow renovations to freshen up the spaces and give you that Adrift Hospitality sense of place!

Stay tuned for the Fall of 2025, where we plan to add even more of our loved amenities to these properties (barrel saunas, bike rentals), plus a brand-new cafe that will be serving up coffee, cocktails, and fresh eats!
