Take a Hike
There are some truly spectacular spots for outdoor adventure with your bud on the coast. On the Long Beach Peninsula (near Adrift Hotel, Boardwalk Cottages, and the Inn at Discovery Coast) you will find excellent trails and beaches to explore. Check out dog-friendly Cape Disappointment, Leadbetter State Park, as well as various beach access points along the ocean and bay sides of the peninsula. Across the river, (near Bowline Hotel and Ashore Hotel) stroll along the Riverwalk in downtown Astoria, enjoy a forest hike in Fort Clatsop, frolic on miles of beach in Seaside, and discover the dramatic Ecola State Park to the south. See our Summer Events Calendar for other seasonal activities.
