Darka Dusty and Miri Stebivka are two unique humans who met in London, England and came together to form a powerful, creative partnership in music, photography, and in life. Together they are in two bands (Darka Dusty and the Borscht Beatniks and Mammoth in Space) and also perform as a duet and other, various incarnations. 

Known for her big voice, Darka Dusty genre-hops from ancient, ethnic mountain-singing to blues to jazz to country and everything in between. Darka’s vocal, piano / keyboard / accordion ad-lib skills are a veritable hot knife through the buttery goodness of Miri Stebivka’s guitar soundscapes. Miri’s musical unconventionality has earned him a well-deserved reputation of tasty melodic distinctiveness and harmonic whimsicality. Together, Darka & Miri attempt to shake up anything that’s not firmly nailed down … musically speaking. 

When they’re not making music, Darka and Miri are also partners in their award-winning, Pacific Northwest photography company, Mirifoto.
