Dedric Clark is a writer and recording artist signed under BMG-Warner (Rise Records). After flash-driving a booking agency’s venue roster and creating a fake agent over email, his band Social Animals toured for 300 days a year on self booked tours until they were picked up by their current manager, Rich Egan (Vagrant, Hard 8). After inking a deal with BMG Warner for their debut record, the band set out on a worldwide tour, which was cut short in Norway in 2020. No strangers to adversity, the band bounced back with their recent single ‘Adults’ charting at #10 on Amazon Music’s Top 100 Alternative songs of 2021. Now, with a debut record completed and ready to go, and working with artists and producers like Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, Pixies), Mark Needham (The Killers, Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons), John Rausch (Taylor Swift, P!nk, Moon Taxi) Chris Carabba (Dashboard Confessional),—Dedric is using his free time in early 2022 to self-book a tour in a van like the old days.
