Eugenia Riot is the new musical brainchild of Portland based singer-songwriter Leigh Jones (Crow and the Canyon, Five Letter Word). The name is taken from Jones’s eldest known female ancestor, Eugenia Riot, born in the 1200s near Yorkshire, England.
The original songs of Eugenia Riot are at once personal and relatable, idiosyncratic and infectious, with Jones’s contemplative lyrics always buoyed by her lilting, folky vocals. You can also expect covers ranging from Joni Mitchell to Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles to Kacey Musgraves.
We are looking forward to inviting Eugenia Riot to the Shelburne Pub this summer!
