Storm Watching on the Coast

Storm Watching Season Is Here!

With November comes the beginning of storm season, including the famous king tides that take place up and down the coast. These tides are a glimpse into our future sea levels, and are truly awesome to experience!

Looking For A Spot With A View?

Our rooms at Adrift Hotel and Inn at Discovery Coast have the best ocean views for storm watchers! If you’re only in Long Beach for the day, our fourth floor restaurant Pickled Fish is your ticket to picturesque storm watching views.

If you’re staying in Oregon, Bowline Hotel has Luxe River View rooms (complete with soaking tub) & boasts panoramic views of the Columbia River from the bar & eatery The Knot.

Looking For A Cozy Stay?

Thoughts of a storm got you shivering? Our Washington properties Shelburne Hotel and Boardwalk Cottages are both set away from the beach & have all the tools to keep your cheeks rosy, your kids occupied, & your toes toasty warm! Fireplaces, warm drinks, and in-room games are at your disposal. In Oregon, Ashore Hotel hosts a dry sauna, heated indoor pool, and is a short walk from all that Seaside has to offer!

Want The Best of Both Worlds?

Interested in the action, but also want to be close to town? Bowline Hotel‘s Trolley rooms give you city views and are right next to top local purveyors! Ashore Hotel has larger rooms that fit the entire family, and is a short walk from both the ocean and the Seaside Aquarium.
